He belonged to a wealthy owner and was part of a pack trained for fox and hare hunting, as well as for racing. Artie disliked both. He hated the competitive spirit where dogs were rewarded with treats for winning races or bringing back game. He didn’t like killing animals, and he despised sleeping outside in a kennel. He dreamed of living in a fine house and receiving affectionate pets—not as a reward, but as a true sign of love.
One day, he spotted a stunning car parked by the roadside. It was black, gleaming, and convertible. Since no one was inside, Artie jumped in and rested for a while.
When he woke up, the car was driving through the fields. Artie, sitting with his ears flapping in the wind, felt incredibly free and happy. After some time, they arrived in London. The city was magnificent, with its beautiful houses passing by. Suddenly, the car stopped in front of a grand hotel. The people outside began to cheer: “Oh, how handsome he is! Oh, he’s so cute!” Everyone rushed to pet Artie. The elegant lady driving the car hadn’t noticed him when she got back in after her walk. She instantly fell in love with Artie. From that moment on, they were inseparable, and Artie could finally live in a fine house, sleep on a cozy couch, and receive all the love and affection he had always longed for.
